MAKEUP IN LA, USA, FEB 2022
MakeUp in Los Angeles returned back in 2022 at the LA Convention Center. It was held concurrently with Luxe Pack Los Angeles again.
HNB's Paper Handle Applicators were awarded by Innovation & Trend Award. On the IT Awards showcase, 22 skincare and makeup innovations selected by IT Awards Expert Committee among 88 submissions. We are very proud to be one of the 4 winners of the competition, with Airless Powder Pump from APR Beauty (in the Packaging category), Lip Legend no-transfer liquid lipsitck from B. Kolormakeup & skincare S.p.A. SB (in the Formulation category) and Evoke from Chromavis Fareva (in the Full service category).
The jury appreciated the "great leap forward" in sustainablity allowed by these in-stor product testing applicators featuring a handle made of recycled paper. 65% of the brush can be fully recycled. The range includes applicators for lip products and eye shadow, as well as a mascara wand applicator.
Packaging and products must become more sustainable in beauty industry. We believe that there are ways to achieve this small revolution, and showed different options - including PLA, Cork, Wood plastic composit handle brushes, and coconut infused sponges.
